2 players who should follow Zaha to Liverpool in January

We’re all, of course, a little distracted by Christmas right at the moment but in just over a week’s time the January transfer window is set to open and we can’t wait for that either.

We’ve seen plenty of blockbuster deals involving the Reds during this window over the years and whilst it’s natural to hope for another Luis Suarez, signing any player that helps the team challenge for the title will be more than welcome.

According to Football Whispers in recent days, one such signing could be Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha who has done pretty well this season for the Eagles.

It would mark our first foray into the market this year, too, but we think that cannot be the only signing if we want to build a squad capable of sustained success.

That in mind, then, here are two more players we want to follow the rapid winger to Anfield…

Sime Vrsaljko

Competition for places is going to be key this season and going into next year where we want Champions League football to be back at Anfield.

That in mind, then, we should go for someone like Vrsaljko who offers a class option at both right back and left back. Whilst he’d give Nathaniel Clyne a proper run for his money he’d also give us a top, more orthodox option down the left and so he needs to be seriously considered by Klopp.

Joe Hart

It may seem a little harsh on Loris Karius but we need to be ruthless if we want to win the league.

If the German stopper isn’t ready to perform week in week out yet then the Manchester City man needs to be signed as soon as possible. He offers title winning know-how and a commanding presence in his area and if we can wrangle something to bring him in from his loan deal in January, we surely have to go for it.
