Real Madrid are ready to cash in on Karim Benzema in the summer, news which is sure to alert Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Wenger has been heavily linked with a move for the France international over the last few years as rumours of a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium refuse to go away.
Talk of a potential January switch again came to nothing as the striker remained at the Bernabeu, but now fresh reports have suggested a deal could finally happen at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old is struggling for form with Los Blancos this season, and it has been suggested the striker will go in search of a fresh challenge elsewhere, and the Premier League would be the obvious choice.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane will not stand in his way either as he looks to freshen up his strikeforce in the summer, with the likes of Sergio Aguero on his radar.
Benzema will not come cheap though, and the Gunners will have to fork out in the region of £50million to have any chance of striking a deal for the former Lyon star.
