Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has admitted that the Bianconeri must make more chances on the pitch following their draw with Sevilla.
Their 2016/17 Champions League campaign got underway with a 0-0 draw with the Spanish side on Wednesday night, and coach Massimiliano Allegri commented that there were areas to improve all over the pitch.
“We were very compact, very tidy, and we kept a clean sheet, but we have to do a little bit more,” Chiellini told Mediaset Premium.
“We have to help our strikers a little bit more even if we did create several chances in practice [against Sevilla].”
La Vecchia Signora next set foot on Champions League territory on September 27, when they travel to Croatia to face Dinamo Zagreb, who lost 3-0 to Olympique Lyonnais in their opener.
Before then, Juventus must take a trip to Inter in Serie A on Sunday evening.
