Arsene Wenger appears to be very interested in strengthening his attack this summer and has earmarked Wolfsburg’s Julian Draxler and Toulouse Ben Yeddar as candidates to strengthening his attack.
According to Italian Journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Arsenal are interested in signing the duo. Giulianelli claims Wenger has made reinforcing his attacking options one of his priorities this summer.
He tweeted: “There is talk around the club about Ben Yedder & Draxler coming in potentially at Arsenal.”
Draxler has been linked with a move to the Emirates in the last couple of season and his performances for Germany at the Euro 2016 ia believed to have resurrected Wenger’s interest this summer. Wolfsburg have stated they are not prepared to sell the winger but should they be forced to sell, the winger would command a fee between £40m – £50m should his club be forced to sell.
Ben Yeddar is a less popular name to Draxler, but the Toulouse striker was very impressive last season and appears to have caught the attention of Wenger. The striker who is valued around £8m scored 17 goals in 35 league games for his club last term and is seen as a decent addition to the squad.
Arsenal are currently linked with a number of centre forwards and wingers, we wouldn’t be shocked if Yeddar and Draxler joins the squad before the end of the transfer window.
