AC Milan are eyeing a move for Arsenal summer target Riyad Mahrez, according to reports.
The Italian giants are reportedly very interested in signing the Algeria international next summer.
Mahrez was a target of Arsenal in the last transfer window but the Algerian opted against moving to North London, in favor of signing a new deal with Leicester City.
However, this season isn’t going as planned for the Premier League Champions as they sit just two points above the relegation zone after 11 games and Mahrez could be the subject of interest from big clubs again next summer.
Arsene Wenger is a big fan of Mahrez and it is believed we will try to sign him should he become available on transfer.
According to Calcio Mercato via The Metro, Milan are keen on the winger and will attempt to sign him next summer.
While Arsenal doesn’t look desperately in need of new wingers, It wouldn’t be surprising if we join the race to sign the Algerian in the summer. Who wouldn’t want the current PFA player of the year in its squad?
Mahrez is the only bright spot in a struggling Leicester City side this season and a move to a big club looks inevitable. Hopefully, that big club will be Arsenal.
