Just when some fans were leaving the stadium to arrive home early, Ganit Xhaka scored a screamer; a goal which he may not better in 5 years. However, rather than run the entire length of the pitch or perform his customary celebration, the 23-year-old chose to shush his doubters.
This has gotten the fans talking, with a school of thought suggesting that it is being aimed at Wenger who recently, in his pre-match conference, suggested that Xhaka should stick to his defensive role.
Here’s what some fans are saying on twitter:
celebration was disrespectful. Goal that some people would have used to throw like three to four dabs. Sigh

I’m as bemused as the next man at Xhaka’s omission today, but let’s be real – no chance that celebration is aimed at Wenger. #afc #xhaka

So what was Xhaka’s celebration about?

Xhaka’s celebration was elite, was telling all his haters to shut up. What a man.
